Gina Woodward

Executive Director

Gina has served small business owners across the Texas Panhandle through her work with West Texas A&M University since 2008. She is particularly passionate about supporting women in entrepreneurship and making sure that they have a seat at all tables in business. An Accredited Consultant with the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants, supporting entrepreneurs through partnerships with other organizations has played an important role in her work. From co-chairing the Texas Governor’s Forum for Women in 2019 to co-founding quarterly Panhandle Partner Roundtables, she believes that everyone benefits when we work together.

Gina also teaches Small Business Management for the Engler College of Business at WTAMU, helping to bridge the gap between academics and application. Accolades include 2021 Top Gun Award from the High Ground of Texas, 2023 Staff Excellence Award from West Texas A&M University, and 2024 Community Ambassador Award from the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business.

Outside of the office, Gina follows her teenage son’s many sports activities and is teaching him how to drive, an experience she is thankful to have so far survived. She wishes she could say the same for her front bumper.
