Continuing the Legacy of Leadership: Kyla Frye Named as Executive Director of WT Enterprise Center
WT Enterprise Center along with the WTAMU Engler College of Business announces long-time team member Kyla Frye as Executive Director. Kyla has served the organization as the Interim Executive Director since August 1, 2018. During that time, she led the efforts of developing new programs, cultivating new partnerships in the community and prioritizing strategic growth of the organization.
During her seven-year tenure with the WT Enterprise Center, she held several positions including Marketing Director and Associate Director. Kyla has been an integral part of the leadership team, contributing to the overall vision and strategic initiatives of the Enterprise Center. As a key member of the community she champions entrepreneurship and is an ecosystem builder for our region. Kyla also represents the WT Enterprise Center on an international level, serving as a board member for the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA).

The leadership team of the Enterprise Center also includes David Terry, former co-founder and entrepreneur, returning in a full-time position as our Client Services Director and Brittny Lee, marketing and program expert, as Marketing Director. Our dedicated and experienced staff also includes Debbie Holmes as Administrative Services Manager and Megan Stutz as Community Manager.
Background information –
Kyla Frye is a 2012 graduate of West Texas A&M University earning a B.S. in Mass Communications and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in 2018. Kyla is a certified GrowthWheel Trainer, Wendy Kennedy Coach and InBIA Incubator Manager. Kyla serves on the board for the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA), Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Governmental Council and is a mentor for the PRO program for Amarillo and Canyon ISD. She’s former President of the Amarillo Business Women, and member of the Global Accelerator Network (GAN). Kyla was a 2015 recipient of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Top 20 Under 40 Award and a 2016 recipient of the Amarillo Business Women’s, Women of Leadership Award.
WT Enterprise Center invites you to a Meet & Greet with the New Executive Director on Wednesday, May 15th from 8:30am to 10:00am at the WT Enterprise Center. This will be a time to hear about the vision and strategic plan for inspiring innovation in the Texas Panhandle.
