Brad Martin

William “Brad” Martin serves as Chairman of the Board for Scottco Mechanical Contractors, Inc.  Brad was the President of Scottco from 1990 to 2008. He recently worked as a Business Coach for the Nexstar Network in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is the past National Chairman and a Lifetime member of the Nexstar Network, a business best practices organization operating in the United States, Canada, and Australia.  He is also a founder of the Nexstar Legacy Foundation which provides business and technical education scholarships.

Throughout his career, Brad Martin has been very active in the Amarillo community. He served on the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation for six years and is one of its past chairmen.  He has also served in leadership roles for several organizations including the Amarillo Executive Association, Eveline River’s Sunshine Cottage and the Better Business Bureau. He has also been a Sunday school teacher at Hillside Christian Church for the past 27 years.  He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Enterprise Center.

Brad is an engineering graduate of Texas Tech University and he is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.  He holds mechanical contractor licenses in Texas and Oklahoma. He returned to college at age 53 and earned his MBA at the Rawls School of Business at Texas Tech University in 2011.

Brad and his wife Carol of 40 years have two children, Amanda and Stephen.  In is free time, Brad enjoys, traveling, golfing, reading and writing.
